AUGUST 13, 2007 - SUMMER UPDATE
I've been on tour for the past 5 weeks so things were put on hold for a minute and now we're back to normal...
In case you've been wondering what the hell is going on with our summer releases, here is an update for you:
- SABERTOOTH ZOMBIE
'Dance' 10" was set to be released in August but STZ has entered the studio to record an additional 4 songs for a double release 10" that will come out in November 2007. This is most certainly worth the wait and you'll be seeing pre-orders pop-up in late September.
A track or two will be uploaded in September to give you a sneak preview of the 10".
- THESE DAYS
Vocals and mastering pushed this CD back a few weeks but it will hit the press this week and we should have it in our hands by Mid to Late September. Pre-orders with a limited edition t-shirt will be up in Late August.
- DEAD WILL RISE
We've sent off the CD to be re-mastered and are finishing up artwork. This EP will be released within the next two months as the final steps are completed.

Sabertooth Zombie to Release 'DANCE' 10"
After recently releasing a split with Lifelong Tragedy and their debut full-length 'Midnight Venom', Sabertooth Zombie returned to the studio in mid-May to record their latest offering. Dance EP will be pressed on 10" clear vinyl and will be a limited pressing. This EP contains 6 brand new tracks and a cover that will show you a new side to the band.
The 10" is set to be released this summer with pre-orders starting in June. We are beyond excited to be putting out this release that is the band's best material to date.

FEBRUARY 28, 2007 - THESE DAYS AND MODERN EYES TEAM UP FOR A TWELVE GAUGE SPLIT RELEASE
Featuring six songs from each band, this split will showcase each band's unique brand of hardcore music, and give the world a glimpse of two of the strongest bands in the Bay Area. Following a year-long hiatus, These Days returns stronger, heavier and more dynamic than ever. Having spent the past three months writing, These Days are truly pushing their song writing to a higher level. Modern Eyes features former members of Set Your Goals, Razzle Dazzle, and the bygone Time For Living. With riffs that channel Mike Dijan, and vocals that recall early H2O, Modern Eyes puts their own spin on the sounds of mid 90's New York Hardcore and offers a style that you're not going to hear from any other band.

FEBRUARY 18, 2007 - DEAD WILL RISE JOINS THE TWELVE GAUGE RECORDS FAMILY
From Athens, Ohio, Dead Will Rise brings something new to the Twelve Gauge Records roster. Their blend of technical grindcore has caught the attention of many with the self-release of their debut EP "Rest Assured The End Is Upon Us." Dead Will Rise along with former drummer Alex Howard will enter the studio in March to record 8 new tracks for an upcoming EP effort that will be released on Twelve Gauge Records just before Summer 2007. We are beyond excited to be working with Dead Will Rise and should have the ball rolling starting with a new shirt design available in the Twelve Gauge Store very shortly.

NOVEMBER 4, 2006 - WELCOME MISERICORDIAM TO THE TWELVE GAUGE FAMILY
The latest addition to the Twelve Gauge Records family is Las Vegas' Misericordiam. With politics shooting out of their mouths and death metal out of their amps, Misericordiam has made a name for themselves as a unique up and coming metal band. We're super proud to have Misericordiam on our team and we should have an EP out in Early 2007. Check out Misericordiam's myspace page for more details about the band.

Sabertooth Zombie's debut full-length 'Midnight Venom' is almost ready to hit the streets. The CD just got recorded last week at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland and will be out November 2006 on Twelve Gauge Records.

SET IT STRAIGHT ARRESTED!

Statement from Set It Straight:
" Some of you might have heard, but half of Set it Straight was arrested today for protesting the Redding Police Department shutting down the show in the middle of our set. We were playing a Skate demo at the Redding Skatepark when 6 cop cars showed up and demanded everyone to vacate, including the kids skating, who had nothing to do with anything (they shut down the park, as well). This was a sponsored event, with permits. The Redding Parks and Recreation committee came out and unlocked the power box, and set up trash cans around the area we were playing. The show was 100% legit, so we didn't stop playing, finished our set, and took our sweet time breaking down, but when they surrounded our friend who was riding the park and hit his bike with their batons, things got lame. He was arrested, no explaination. Harry, Ben, John and Tim were sitting down in the skatepark when RPD told them to leave, they asked why, and immediately they cuffed Ben. Harry told them he wasn't going to move so they choked him to the pavement and cuffed him too, along with Timmy and John. Later they also arrested Brittny and Sara for standing too close, bringing the total to seven. Harry's dad got most of it on the video mode of his digital camera, which is below. My favorite part is where one of the officers jokes that Harry's taxes pay his salary. What a dick. After the arrests, and multiple threats from the RPD cops, Harry's Dad, myself, and a few others went to Redding's Channel 7 news. A small story aired tonight highlighting each side of the story, but the overwhelming theme was the Sargeant's quote:
"The didn't have a permit. Bands of this nature lead to beatings and stabbings."
At the station, one of the cops said to Harry; "You're that band that played last week where someone got stabbed." He told them that definitely wasn't us, and the cop replied "Yes, it was". Awesome. When one of the sponsors, the owner of Johnny Rad's skateshop, showed up at the news station to contribute to the story, an officer told him if he didn't leave he would be arrested for tresspassing. Luckily, we were already inside with the reporter. Anyway, there should be a longer story on the news Monday, once we have the permits in line we can hopefully have all the charges dropped and then some, and the story on the monday evening news will show way more of our side (and if we're lucky, show the cops for the bullying jocks they are). All seven are being charged with loitering and unlawful assembly, and Harry and Ben are being charged with Resisting Arrest.
If you live in redding, send an email to info@krcrtv.com and tell them they need to bump this story up. We can't let them just get away with roughing us up and kicking us out, especially since it was all legal. Send a letter to the editor of the Record Searchlight at letters@redding.com , we need to flood these inboxes. This is a small town and we need to do everything we can to keep the cops out of our scene, and if we can use the media to achieve that, good. "
AUGUST 30, 2006 - SABERTOOTH ZOMBIE JOINS THE TWELVE GAUGE RECORDS FAMILY!
The latest addition to the Twelve Gauge Records roster is teh North Bay's SABERTOOTH ZOMBIE. Sabertooth Zombie is a five piece hardcore band that completely ignores the rules and generic aspects of hardcore music forming their own, original brand of hardcore.
With everything being on schedule, Sabertooth Zombie is set to enter Castle Ultimate Studios in early October for the release of their 19 song full-length due out before the end of the year.
Merchandise is already in the process of being made, so keep an eye out on the Twelve Gauge Store.

JULY 7, 2006 - TG-007 ON ITS WAY ALONG WITH THE HOODS AND SET IT STRAIGHT LPS
First and foremost, I'd like to thank everyone for their patience with the Set It Straight Pre-orders of which the LP ran pretty late. These WILL be shipped out on July 19th along with some stickers, posters and everything else you may have ordered. I truly appologize for the delay and it couldn't have come at a worse time; right as I take a trip to Europe. I will be in europe starting Monday July 10th. My father has offered to take over for me so expect all pre-orders to be shipped out just as effieciently as well as all store orders. The Hoods LPs will be in shortly after the Set It Straight LP's, so expect those in your mailbox soon and the Molotov Solution/War From A Harlots Mouth CD will be ordered Monday morning and should be in our hands shorly before I return from Europe. JUNE 7, 2006 - HOODS THE KING IS DEAD LP!
We are proud to announce the release of Hoods - The King Is Dead on 12" Color LP will be on Twelve Gauge Records (Under exclusive license from Eulogy Recordings) this Summer! Infact, pre-orders are already up at the Twelve Gauge Store. These are being ordered tomorrow so they should be in within the next month. I promise there shouldn't be any delays. As far as the Set It Straight LP, all the artwork is finally straightened out and should be in our hands in the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for tons of merch soon!
JUNE 4, 2006 - TWO NEW TWELVE GAUGE SIGNINGS // SIS PRE-ORDER DELAY
If you haven't already heard, Twelve Gauge Records is proud to welcome MOLOTOV SOLUTION (Las Vegas) and WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH (Germany) to the family. The two bands will be releasing an 8-song split CD that is due in July 2006 as the bands tour throughout the summer. For upcoming shows and tourdates visit the bands' personal myspaces. Molotov Solution will be recording and releasing a full length with Twelve Gauge Records; a specific date hasn't been set, but should be released around Christmas this year or Early 2007. Various t-shirts from Molotov Solution, War From A Harlots Mouth, Set It Straight and Resist Control are all in production so keep an eye out for a loaded Web Store!
Set It Straight pre-orders are still up and running and the record should be out very shortly. We did infact experience a shitload of complications with the artwork and were forced to have to wait for a new set of art to be made due to some unfortunate United States Postal Service screw ups. Check your inbox for a more formal appology. I truly hate delaying pre-orders as I have done before, but its simply not in my hands and I promise to get the pre-orders out the minute I get my shipment.

Some of you may have already heard about this, but it is with great pleasure that I can announce the upcoming Set It Straight Full length CD and LP will be coming out in the next 2-3 months on Twelve Gauge Records. This is going to be an amazing release and pre-orders have been set up as your support is truly beneficial. Pre-orders will not ship until May or early June at the latest, but I encourage you to pre-order the CD or LP or both to get your hands on this as soon as possible and help out the label a great deal. Look out for a U.S. Tour this summer and more merch in the next few weeks. 2006 is looking like a great year so far! Head on over to the store and pre-order the CD/LP.
JANUARY 22, 2006 - NEW YEARS/NEW UPDATES/NEW RELEASES!
A great start to the new year with two brand new releases, well one not so brand new... The Set It Straight/Where Eagles Dare Split 7" has already made its way to the distros and pre-order customers! I'm hoping everyone likes the cool colors/covers and design. The pre-orders were black vinyl with black on black printed covers and in black sleeves. These were numbered out of 70. The only other available color that you can obtain from me is the Distro color which is Side A Yellow/Side B Red (all those who ordered more than 1 pre-order got a copy of each). The 3rd color is a split clear/yellow which was sent directly to the bands for their record releases! Set It Straight's Record Release show will be this Saturday at The Cave with Hoods, Folsom and many more.
The Countdown/Tiefighter split has also made its way to the distros and has been getting nothing but great reviews from those who pre-ordered. Thanks for all the support.

NOVEMBER 28, 2005 - END OF THE YEAR UPDATES: NEW BAND/RELEASES!
The past few weeks have been nothing but eventful starting with the addition of Northern California's RESIST CONTROL to the Twelve Gauge Records family. I'm very excited to be working with these guys. The plans are to finish up recording their full length and have it out sometime around Spring 2006. Keep upto date for news about Resist Control and check out their myspace to listen to their 2005 demo.
The Set It Straight/Where Eagles Dare split 7" test presses have been approved and therefore pre-orders have officially began. Pre-orders will be shipped out on the week of January 9th, 2006 due to my European vacation but I promise that they will be the first thing I will attend to. First 100 pre-orders will receive a very special limited pre-order only color with cool packaging (Its a suprise -- but you'll dig it..). Click here to check out the SIS/WED 7" pre-orders.
Lastly, the Countdown/Tiefighter split is in its final stages before being sent out to the CD plant. We should be able to have this in our hands within the next month and expect short, simple pre-orders within the next week. Thanks again for all the support!
OCTOBER 31, 2005 - MORE UPDATES/VINYL RELEASE!
Things have been going great this month. Thanks to everyone for picking up the new Set It Straight/Where Eagles Dare split CD. All the support is helping out the label alot and is helping things get rolling. So as of now, 3 releases are planned and ready to roll:
- Set It Straight/Where Eagles Dare Split 7" (Out within the next month! --- pre-orders soon)
- Countdown/Yourlastbreath Split CD (Due around December)
- Set It Straight/Static Revolution Split 7" (Due January 2006)
I'm way stoked on having such amazing releases planned for the upcoming few months. Keep an eye out for pre-orders, merchandise and more distro items (including a new online store). I know you're probably thinking "thats a whole lot of split cds" but don't worry theres alot more planned for 2006 :)

OCTOBER 4, 2005 - JIHAD - PRE-ORDERS OUT/SPLIT CD NOW AVAILABLE
Its with great pleasure that I can finally say that all pre-orders have been shipped out and TG-003 Set It Straight/Where Eagles Dare Split CD is now available! Distros should be getting ahold of it soon but the online store already has it available for purchase. Thank you so much to everyone who pre-ordered the CD and you have my sincerest appology for the long delay. I hate giving excuses but if you care to know; the plant had alot of trouble with the order and had to re-create it twice. SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 - JIHAD - TG-001 OUT OF PRINT/PRE-ORDERS ALMOST OUT!
As of today, our first release, Heavy Heavy Low Low - Courtside Seats EP, has gone OUT OF PRINT! Yes, every copy has been sold. Thank you to everyone who's bought one and make this happen. Heavy Heavy Low Low has done an excellent job getting their name out there and have been constantly out on the road. AUGUST 16, 2005- JIHAD - MERCH SUPRISE/SPLIT DELAY!
Check the Twelve Gauge Store for a little suprise in the heavy heavy low low merchandise. I put up two rare shirt designs in very limited quantities. Buy them while they last! In other news, the Set It Straight/Where Eagles Dare split is experiencing a small problem with the manufacturer and will be delayed. JUNE 24, 2005 - JIHAD - YOURLASTBREATH SHIRTS ARE IN!
I've finally got some new merch up in the store. One BRAND NEW Yourlastbreath shirt is now available on the website and an older design that was only available at shows will soon be available as well. Expect it in the next week. Also, I added the remainder of the new Twelve Gauge Records t-shirts in black with gray ink. Heavy Heavy Low Low merchandise is still in the works, but dont lose faith.

Yessss, summer is here! I know I've broken plenty of promises so far about Heavy Heavy Low Low and Yourlastbreath merch but if you believe it or not, I should honestly have atleast 1 shirt design from each band in stock within a month. The Heavy Heavy Low Low CD Release show on Friday was a huge sucess. I'd like to thank everyone who was able to come out and make it such a great night. We sold a lot of the CD's but we still have plenty in stock, so be sure to pick one up at a show or jet over to the Online Store and buy it. We have a bunch of copies of the band's first EP left so online orders will receive a copy of that. I'm happy to say that the UPS man woke me up today with TG-001 Heavy Heavy Low Low - Courtside Seats. Pre-orders will start up pretty soon (Beginning of February) and the CD release show is scheduled for the 11th of February at The Balcony in San Jose, CA. Bands scheduled to perform include: the almighty At Risk, Peltier Road Massacre, Funeral Diner, Loftus and Red Fall. Mark your calendars and come join us for a night of good fun. First and foremost, I'm so glad to finally have an online home for my label up and running. If you run into any problems, feel free to contact me. These past few months have been nothing but hard work getting things worked out with my first band, the City of San Jose and basically everything a small business needs to do to become legit.
